We had the pleasure of attending the Cuming County Supervisor meeting to present Judy Mutzenberger (center, photo at left), District 3 representative, with our Certificate of Service and the Platte County Supervisor meeting to present Jerry Engdahl (center, photo below), District 6 representative, with our Certificate of Service.
Judy served on the NENEDD Board of Directors from July 1, 2017, to June 30,2023 with her last year as Boardchair and Jerry served on our non-profit, Northeast Economic Development, Inc. Board of Directors from July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2023. During their time on the board, $53.4 million of grants and loans were awarded in the 16-county region and 919 jobs were created/retained and 255 housing units were assisted.
Executive Director, Thomas L. Higginbotham Jr., said “It was great to have two county supervisors who have a passion for community and economic development serve on our boards. They truly made a difference.”
