About Us

NENEDD is located at 111 S. 1st Street in Norfolk, Nebraska. Our staff of professionals work together to assist communities and individuals with economic development, housing and business loan opportunities. Any community located within the blue portion of the map below is able to apply for membership to the District and receive the benefits listed on our community planning page.

The total population of this region is 199,391 of which nearly 70,000 is concentrated in our three micropolitans Fremont, Columbus and Norfolk. Of the 117 communities in the NENEDD footprint, 110 have a population less than 2,500.

Our staff has more than 40 years of combined experience in community development, economic development, finance, construction and planning. Each year members of our staff attend CDBG, HOME and other pertinent training conferences to be sure we stay current on the latest advancements in the field of economic development.

Our non-profit organization, NED, Inc., is a separate entity that contracts with NENEDD to manage the programs it supports. NED, Inc. has a separate board of directors that governs its activities.

YouTube and Google
4.1 Use of YouTube API Services
Our website/application incorporates Google and YouTube APIs. Certain components of your Google or YouTube accounts may be accessed by YouTube for video embeds, however, our service does not access or store your Google or YouTube account data. Our service caches video list data directly from YouTube for all visitors and does not access your YouTube account to personalize or change the videos displayed. All YouTube data fetched, stored, and displayed is generic and is the same for all website visitors. Your use of Google and YouTube is subject to the Google Privacy Policy . You retain the option to manage your privacy settings within your Google and/or YouTube accounts to control the information shared with our services. This section may be updated without notice; thus, periodic reviews are advisable. By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Google and YouTube API Usage section.
