Board of Directors Meeting Minutes for July 31, 2024

The Northeast Economic Development, Inc.(NED, Inc.) and the Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District (NENEDD) Board of Directors met on July 31, 2024 at the Norfolk City Offices.

Two Direct Homebuyer Assistance loans were approved in the amount of $60,000.

NENEDD Housing Loan Specialist, Mandy Gear, stated, “Congratulations to our newest homebuyers utilizing the direct homebuyer assistance program!! This program provides assistance to those persons of greatest need, improves the availability of housing, promotes home ownership, and increases the attractiveness of underdeveloped neighborhoods, in addition to increasing local employment. A new home is an investment that will reap rewards for a lifetime. Thank you to the homebuyers for allowing us the opportunity to partner with them as they begin this new and exciting chapter!!”
