The Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District (NENEDD) and the Northeast Economic Development, Inc. (NED, Inc.) Board of Directors held their monthly board meeting on March 27, 2024.
One business loan presented by Jeff Christensen, Business Loan Specialist with NENEDD, was approved at the NED, Inc. board meeting for $40,000 to Tigers & Friends Childcare, LLC, in Osmond. The members of Tigers & Friends are planning the expansion of the daycare business to a new facility that will include a kitchen/dining area, open play area, separate sleep areas, restrooms and an entry/drop off location.
NENEDD Business Loan Specialist Jeff Christensen says, “Nearly every community in northeast Nebraska needs childcare for its residents. NED, Inc. funding will help to ensure there is a childcare provider in Osmond and the surrounding area for the years to come.”
