The deadline to register for the Fall Virtual Workshop is TOMORROW!
The NPZA Board is continuing its commitment to reach those who normally cannot make it to the annual Nebraska Planning Conference in Kearney. The Fall Workshop is a one-day group of planning and zoning sessions held in a Zoom Webinar environment to hold you over until the annual conference next spring.
This year we have a variety of topics including:
- Effective and Contentious Meetings
- Board of Adjustment
- Planning Fundamentals
- Basic Floodplain Management for Planning and Zoning Administrators
- Knox County Wind Farm Case – What does it Mean?
- Planting a Community Legacy
- Land Banks in Nebraska: Tool for Renewal
It is a diverse selection of subjects that we believe will be helpful to everyone in attendance. Additionally, as always, we will have a question and answer session that many feel is helpful in resolving specific issues through the help of fellow planners and zoning administrators.
The cost of the workshop is only $20 per person in an organization up to a maximum of $100. So, if your entire planning commission and city council wish to attend the workshop, the cost would still be only $100.
MCLE Credits: Attorneys will have the opportunity to obtain 5.5 MCLE credits for continuing education. A form to verify attendance and credits will be provided in the sessions.
The deadline to register is October 22. For more information, visit our website, https://npza.org/registration-now-open-2025-fall-virtual-workshop/.
